When the husband of an affluent woman kills himself, she loses everything and ends up on the street. Days before she's due to give birth, and with no money and nowhere to go, she's mugged. A good samaritan comes along, and takes her to a shelter called God's Haven, a place of safety where she delivers the baby. But things aren't so good at this 'haven'; her newborn's from a different world; one run by danger, desire and deception.
