Austin Michael Young

Austin Michael Young he was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, about 2 hours Southwest of the Big Apple, Austin Michael Young was always New York. As a child he visited NYC a couple of times and always felt a sense of belonging. He always had an interest in acting, but he did not attempt to pursue a career in the field because he was focused elsewhere. That focus was Kindergarten. As a Kindergarten teacher Austin would always teach his young students to pursue their dreams. Inspiring them with books like "Oh the Places You Will Go" by Dr. Seuss. It was during this period in his life he began to ask himself some transformative questions, such as; Is this going to be the rest of his life? What would happen if...? Where could I go? Teaching brought Austin many joys and he had a true passion for it. He especially loved being a facilitator of learning for children, but he needed to explore the world. He desired an adventure. Austin refused to be the guy filled with "What If's". So, he began to pursue an adventure. That adventure led him to acting and to a life in the city that never sleeps. His adventure continues today and he can honestly say it has been one magnificent journey, thus far. He has been blessed with many wonderful opportunities. Each day brings a new promise, a new possibility. The adventure of life keeps calling and he continues to answer. Austin made his acting debut in 2011. He has since appeared in works including Unforgettable (2011)Finding Me: The Series (2012), Gotham (2014), The Detour (2016), Threebound (2019) and Vesuvius (2018).
