Courtney Richter is a Canadian actress born and raised in a small town in Northern Ontario. She grew up fishing, camping and playing every sport under the sun. As the middle child of three children she was always seeking to find her own identity. Her love and passion for the arts was tried and tested until her lack of coordination and tone deaf singing voice made acting the obvious choice. She was always planning to go to drama school after high school until her senior year when she decided she wanted to pursue a career that had more stability. She cancelled her theatre school applications and applied to Police Foundations instead. After completing over 200 hours of ride-alongs she realized in the interview process that she was not ready be a police officer. She decided to travel the world and in the process reconnected to her love for acting. Stability be damned she went for her dream and graduated from theatre school a few years later and has never looked back. She is now happily married to fellow Actor Jacob Richter.
