A native New Yorker, Cat Kaylin is an actor and musician who grew up in Bayside, Queens, and went to school in the Bronx. She studied harp with Emily Oppenheimer and Nancy Allen at the Juilliard School, and is a Meisner trained graduate of the William Esper Studio where she studied with Bruce McCarty. She spent time working as a Marketing and Strategy Consultant and living in London before coming back to New York and to her roots in performing arts. When she's not hiking, driving, or on set, Cat works with the Aspen Film Festival and the Aspen Music Festival. Most recently, Cat can be seen as Rose, a reporter, on Netflix's Purple Hearts, opening the Pilot as 'Cami' on CBS's East New York, as a gangster on Law & Order: Organized Crime, and as a waitress on 'Date Night Look', an independent short film, which was an official selection at the 2022 Palm Springs International Shortfest.
