Gissette Valentin
Gissette Valentin was born in Orlando, Florida to her mother Kathy Colon-Justice. She grew up with her older brother, Nathaniel, and developed a love for performing at a young age. This love started to manifest as she went on to train in the arts; acting, dance, and voice. Immediately after finishing high school, Gissette and her mother moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she began her journey. She developed a career as a full time professional dancer, performing in many award shows, television shows, films, and theatre. Gissette's experiences as a performer organically started to lighten the path toward her primary passion, acting. She began training Meisner, Stella Adler, improvisation, comedy, and story; all techniques of which she utilizes to this day. The years went by until one day, she received a phone call that completely changed her life. Since then, Gissette has permanently transitioned into her career as a thriving actress. She has been seen in projects such as The Tomorrow World, Bad Boys For Life, Claws, The Walking Dead, Cobra Kai, The Resident, Ozark and more. She has worked with notable actors such as Dwayne Johnson, Chris Pratt, Judy Reyes, Zac Efron, Niecy Nash, Pollyanna McIntosh, and Peyton List, among others. Gissette is known for her physical prowess, professionalism, intense focus, and willingness to grow and perform, qualities that continue to push her acting career forward. Gissette has several exciting projects scheduled for release in 2023, including a top-secret recurring guest star role with one of Hollywood's most prolific directors.
