Phoebe Plasto
Phoebe Grace Plasto is a theatre actor, born in Sydney, Australia to Julie and Peter Plasto. Having a natural fixation on performing from a young age, Phoebe, a classically trained ballerina, started ballet at 2 and a half years old and continued until she moved to New York at 18. Phoebe started acting as a child in school plays and minor stage productions, igniting her passion for theatre. She began drama classes and AMEB Drama and Performance Examinations, passing with high distinctions. She entered acting competitions such as McDonald and Sydney Eisteddfod's, where she consecutively received first or second place. At 14, she started courses at NIDA, which she continued for 4 years. Phoebe kept busy while at high school; running the drama club, performing leading roles in the school plays and musicals, as well as singing in the choir and playing the piano and flute. She excelled in sports; competing in softball, netball, rhythmic gymnastics, tennis, skiing, cross country running, and had distinct ability in track and field, particularly hurdles. She was the undefeated hurdling champion 6 years in a row, which lead her to compete for the State Championships, however her interest was always drawn back to acting. In her final year, Phoebe was awarded Drama Captain, Academic Excellence, the Young Scientist Award and was also selected to be Ambassador for The Griffin Theatre Company. After graduating, Phoebe was offered a scholarship to Law School but turned it down and at 18 years old, she moved to New York to commence studies at the New York Film Academy. After returning to Sydney, Phoebe competed in plays for Short + Sweet 'The World's Biggest Small Theatre Festival', where she repeatedly won the Judge's Choice Awards and People's Choice Awards. She began classes with Sandra Lee Paterson at On Camera Connections, which she continued for 3 years. Phoebe dabbled in modeling; appearing in Cosmopolitan and Girlfriend magazines, additional editorials, walked in shows for multiple designers and briefly modeled in New York. She landed her breakout theatre role when she was cast as Nora in Henrik Ibsen's A Dolls House. Driven to extend her range; she tried her hand in verbatim theatre, taking on several roles in Alana Valentine's Run Rabbit Run. She continued to build her career in theatre and musical theatre, performing in multiple plays, The Sound of Music, 42nd Street and Beauty and the Beast. After being cast in several commercials, Phoebe sparked an interest in film and gained experience by starring in several short films. While juggling plays and short films, Phoebe also studied theatre at the Actors Centre Australia.

She later became an international actress and model in Capetown, S.A Athens, Greece and Milan, Italy.
